It was once said that...the more time you spend on celebrating and praising someone else's success...the less time you'll spend working on your on success.
Many times we as young men spend to much time bragging about who we know and how well they are doing in life; yet we're failing in our own life.
Many times we as young men spend to much time admiring people we've only seen on television or heard on the radio; but won't take heed to what our love ones is telling us. |

It was said that...."it's okay to feel good about where you are at in life but you should feel much better about where you are going in life"
Life doesn't wait for anyone. I'm learning that life is actually a game of 4 quarters when look at it.
1st qtr.: 1 - 20yrs. old 2nd qtr.: 20 - 40yrs. old 3rd qtr.: 40 - 60yrs. old 4th qtr.: 60 -80+yrs. old
In your first quarter of life you should be getting to know yourself and developing your personality and enjoy having your parents or guardian to lean on for guidance and support. |

We've always been taught or told that we can be anything we want to be in life.... That statement is so far the truth! Yet that's what we tell our young men and then we even go as far as giving them a few examples....such as successful athletes, actors, singer/rappers and even a president. These people just didn't (want) to be successful...they strived and work hard at being successful. Success does not come easy nor is define by one diffanition. So begin working and striving towards the thing or things you'd want to be and you will be what you (strive) for to be.....

Hello men! It's been awhile since I posted anything. Nevertheless I've been busy to say the least.
I've been working with my church youth department and its always a pleasure working with our youth. Many live by a different standard unlike many of uswho grow up in 80's. I'm finding out that our youth have great vision and hopes but what many of them lack is the know how and a direction to get there.
I'll keep you posted!

I recently enjoyed a night out with my family and new friends. I realize that every marriage is different and people get married for different reasons. So what ever your reason is for getting married; make sure that it is with the person that you think of when something happens and you can't wait to tell someone and that someone is her.
